I got what I paid for. Use it till it breaks and throw it out. Make it, sell it and let it fall apart.
The pressed bearing came loose in the aluminum housing. Made in the USA by Americans, for Americans. The original Zipmate I had fell apart.
I have a 1954 Sears Roebuck drill and it still runs like a champ. The replacement is plastic. This tool manufacturer is just like all the others.
More than I can say for this tool and most others. Buy another one and make the Chinese rich.
I'm a little disappointed with this piece. While it works for small jobs, it puts too much strain on the motor to be useful for bigger projects. It seems to be marketed as a replacement for a die grinder, but it falls short.
I found this out the hard way. I found this to be a great, unique and versitile tool. HOWEVER, it is not indistructable. I am now on my second attachment but only because I used it as if it were an $800.00 industrial angle grinder. Let the blade do the cutting and DON'T FORCE it and you'll own it for a long time to come.
WORKS AS ADVERTISED, VERY VERSATILE AND FUNCTIONAL. HANDY TO HAVE IN YOUR TOOL COLLECTION. GREAT FOR WORKING AT 90DEG ANGLES.
